What I've learned from this trip...

After a 2 week trip with 2 nights in a hotel 4 days worth of driving total and 12 days back in our home town I've learned a few things.

*Busch Gardens is super nice

* Must be nice to be a boy or man who can just whip it out and pee when ya really got to go

* My dog has the life

* I'm so glad we live in a ranch style home stairs and 14mo old's are not cool

* Hotel room coffee tables and my babies ear don't mix

* I miss home like crazy

* There is so much more for my kids to do back home in NY then in NC where we currently live

* I want to eventually live in a wooded area where its quiet

* Sponge candy ice cream is my new favorite (must find a way to have shipped)

* NO ONE can do wings like Buffalo NY

* I still have great friendships with girls I haven't seen in years nice to pick right back up

* My wild almost 3 yr old is the Best in the car (weird)

* My husbands driving scares me

* I hope I look as good as my mom when I'm her age

* We always take a wrong turn somewhere (stupid GPS)

* Still hate my husbands music choices

* Someone always has to sh*t like 10 minutes into the trip

* My mother in law is the cheesecake Queen

* Cousins are your first best friends my kids love theirs so much (makes me teary thinking they cant see each other everyday)

* Never take your family for granted (I cant wait for the day to be all back together for good)

* Love having 3rd row seating (easiest trip home ever)

* My boys need to keep their mouths closed in pools

* Older women love to talk to my husband about our boys (they must think he's hot hehe)

* I hate living out of a suitcase

* There is never enough time to see everyone you want to

* Truly lucky to have the family I do my own and my husbands :)

  2. That was a lot of things learned. I realized that my kids had much more to do in NY than in CO where we've lived for the past 2 years but I still prefer CO even though I miss Brooklyn terribly. Glad you made it back safe. Hope you're having a great week!
